About our participation at I&M World 2016

I stopped by 2005 to go to conferences, hoping that I will ever win big :).

Basically, all the participating merchants have online offers for customers/ partners, and also for employment. For me, attending trade conference is an opportunity to meet with the partners and the customers, in order to have constructive discussions.

I enjoy receiving face-to-face feedback, for the eCommerce services that we offer.

Unlike last year, at our stall there were many straight to the point and/ or strategical business related debates, real situations with reasoned  approaches.

I cannot say that I’ve witnessed too much innovation, even though I hoped for more,  but I am sure that it exists in forms that cannot be present at a conference, because of a high participation cost.

Since I participated and observed the trend every year at this conference, I would like to tell you that I hope that I&M World will return to what it represented in its first years, when it strongly polarized the business community (both offline and online).

At the trade conference, we presented the PlatiOnline, LivrariOnline and PostaPanduri cloud services. We had positive feedback, visitors being able to test the system and smile when picking up the order from the smart locker, for which they paid online.

  1. A customer placed the order online and paid through the PlatiOnline payment system;
  2. The merchant processed the order and through LivrariOnline, generated a     tracking number for the package;
  3. PostaPanduri deposited the package in the smart locker that was chosen by the     customer, when they placed the order. At this moment, the customer received a text message on their phone, with a code that is required to pick up the package from the smart locker.
  4. The customers/ testers enter the codes on the screen and the door of the cell opened.
  5. They smiled.
  6. In the end, they approved of our solutions.

Following this experience, we decided to organize online events right on our Facebook page, during which we could describe the benefits of our solutions to the merchants, also responding to the questions and requests of partners.
